Well, this is easily the loveliest portrait I’ve seen in a long time! Pretty much everything is likeable about it – the bun, the eyes accentuated by the scarf, your nose and your fingers, your complexion, and the aura of mystery as we can’t see the bottom of your face. I wonder if the trick with the background was intended, squares on the left, plain on the right.
Why “doe”? Might this be the look a doe would wear standing just beyond the trees, knowing it’s just been spotted by someone?
